Elisabeth’s Story
NLS was founded by Elisabeth Baumgarten Humphries, an Ops Pro who also has Strong Business Development skills, and experience in building Strategic Partnerships, Professional Services and Management. After 20 years as an executive with F-500 companies she decided to take a break from corporate life to be a MOM to her only child. To fund that break, Elisabeth built NLS and took her corporate skills to SMB owners, and as an experienced solution-oriented executive, with a demonstrated history of building teams, controlling costs and increasing the bottom line, she helped SMB owners execute effective top-down management as well as Quality Management Systems focused on documented procedures and CA / PA / Root Cause Analysis programs. Six years later, one of those SMB owners hired Elisabeth and then was acquired by a large firm so Elisabeth is back in the corporate world. Elisabeth now has enjoyed over 40 years promoting Operations Excellence as an SMB and corporate contributor and executive in SMB and F-500 companies.
Her passions are people development in the corporate world, and compassionate evangelism in her personal world. Her favorite role is being MOM to her only child, her son Jennings.
Reading children's books over the years she thought she could contribute valuable content. So now she also is working on a few children's books. Go Away Moon is the first. Elisabeth has more ideas to be written and hopes you will stay tuned and enjoy!
